What makes Rescence Pure Resveratrol safe?

Rescence Laboratory conducts third-party quality control tests to assure product quality and safety. In addition, rare or even unique in the market, Rescence Pure Resveratrol complies with the strictest regulation of PAHs by the European Commission.

Every batch of Rescence Pure Resveratrol is tested for the more comprehensive PAHs, PA4H, meeting the stringent European Commission (EC) regulation on the carcinogenic PAHs ( polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons) while the majority of trans-resveratrol in the market do not meet this standard.

Processing of food (drying, smoking) and cooking of food at high temperatures (grilling, frying, roasting, baking) are commonly considered to be the major sources of food contamination by PAHs. Given the ease of exposure to PAHs with the modern lifestyle, limiting the consumption of these toxins is key to protect oneself.

The European Commission strictly regulates these proven PAHs substances detrimental to one’s health with accumulated exposure, the United States’ California Proposition 65 sets a comparatively low thresholds “no significant risk level” of tolerance and only requires manufacturers’ own initiative to include a warning sentence and, since August 2018, to specify one of the known substances, and not all, even if the content surpasses the tolerated level.

In addition, products sold outside of California of the United States are not required to have the warning label even if they contain substances that might cause Cancer.

Why do we need to boost resveratrol?

Numerous studies showed a wide array of potential benefits of resveratrol that include anti-aging effects, anti-cancer effects etc. Check out this article for details

Structure of resveratrol. Genes and products affected by exposure to the compound

Resveratrol is well tolerated and generally considered safe without toxic side effects up to 5 grams. Everyone may experience different adverse effects if any. Check out this article for findings on the side effects.

Always consult with your physician before adding or removing any supplement.

How much resveratrol to take? What is the suggested resveratrol dosage?

The bioavailability and pharmacokinetics of resveratrol depend on the doses ingested, the concomitant ingestion of food matrix, the particle size, the gut microbiota, and the circadian variation. Check out this article about the dosage.

The research findings suggest that a repeated and moderate administration of resveratrol is better than the administration of a single, higher dose. A safe and efficient dose is 1,000 mg (1 g) up to 5 g per day.

How to take resveratrol? What is the suggested usage of resveratrol?

Bioavailability of resveratrol is higher on an empty stomach (8 hours of fasting) and when taken in the morning due to the influence of the circadian rhythm.

As a David Sinclair, the longevity genetic expert and Harvard professor, has been using NMN over a decade. He dissolves the white powder form of NMN and resveratrol in either Greek yogurt or organic cold press olive oil before ingestion every morning.

Rescence Laboratory team unanimously prefers a tasty savory treat dissolving the Rescence Pure NMN and Pure Resveratrol in a teaspoon of organic cold press olive oil and a bit of balsamic vinegar first thing in the morning, in their salad (for those who are not doing intermittent fasting!)

Can I obtain enough resveratrol from food?

Resveratrol naturally occurs in few edible plants food such as: cranberries (2.41 mg / 125 g), pinot noir (1.57 mg / 150 ml), blueberries (0.6 mg / 150 g), red grape juice (1.25 mg / 250 ml), peanuts (0.37mg / 250 g), pistachios, grapes, and cocoa (0.019 mg / tbsp) and dark chocolate (0.063 mg / 50 g) etc.

To obtain 300 mg of resveratrol, one needs to drink 200 glasses of pinot noir red wine (150 ml per glass) or ingesting over 15.6 kg of cranberries.

Nutraceutical capsule can range from 10 mg to 150 mg per capsule while dietary intake can reach 6 to 8 mg of resveratrol daily. With a diet naturally rich in resveratrol, people wouldn’t absorb more resveratrol according to the studies.

Polygonum cuspidatum (181~350 mg / 100 g) from which Rescence Pure Resveratrol nutraceutical is extracted is naturally high in resveratrol. It is usually 98% purified trans-resveratrol.

What are the differences between trans-resveratrol and cis-resveratrol?

Trans-resveratrol stands out from cis-resveratrol due to its stability, prevalence and high biological activities in inducing cellular responses such as cell cycle arrest, differentiation, apoptosis, and to enhance cancer cells anti-proliferation.

Rescence’s pure resveratrol extracted from Polygonum cuspidatum is trans-resveratrol for its optimal bioavailability.

Where is Rescence Resveratrol sourced or manufactured?

The more bioavailable and effective trans-resveratrol can be produced by field cultures of Polygonum cuspidatum or synthetically, with China being the leading producer.  Rescence’s Pure Resveratrol is trans-resveratrol from Polygonum cuspidatum. Laboratories and blending facilities can be located anywhere in the world.

Our laboratory is located in Hong Kong with minimum travelling distance from the source to manufacture ensuring the freshness of product while minimizing carbon footprint.

How to tell if the resveratrol is pure?

Pure resveratrol is in white or off-white powder form, without any artificial colors, rather than the more commonly found often encapsulated light to dark brown color. Resveratrol is light sensitive; darken color can be due to an overexposure of light and/or high temperature for a duration of time which would render a decreased potency.

Pure resveratrol in white or off-white powder form is hard to come by due to the high production costs. Often times, capsuled supplements may mix in other ingredients which would include fewer milligrams of resveratrol.

In addition, a solid and trustworthy supplier would have the certification to prove the ingredient is free of toxins by internationally recognized testing bodies such as SGS.

Why is Rescence Pure Resveratrol in white powder form?

Rescence offers resveratrol in white powder form for the below reasons:

–  The size of capsule to contain 1000 mg potency of resveratrol would be too large to swallow which can discourage regular usage and potentially cause choking hazard.

– Resveratrol’s purest form is white powder, users can easily incorporate the white powder in their meals or drinks.

– Users can have the flexibility of taking less or more dosage depending on their preferences. Rescence Laboratory doesn’t recommend taking more than 2,500 mg of resveratrol per day at this moment to avoid chances of abdominal side effects.

– Quality is better preserved in powder than in liquid form to avoid accelerated degradation.

– It helps to minimize the risk of ingesting gelatin contaminated of animal diseases

Why is Rescence Pure Resveratrol product of 1,000 mg, with such high potent strength?

Given the latest research findings for resveratrol, 1,000 mg of resveratrol would render healthy aging effects versus products of lower potency. The flexibility of powder form allows ingesting 1,000 mg based on the product weight of 1,000 mg.

Why is it rare to find high strength of resveratrol?

Most resveratrol suppliers tend to compete on pricing by offering diluted potency of resveratrol while mixing in less expensive ingredients to the capsule. Most resveratrol capsules available in the market yield between 10mg to 250mg per capsule with often times 50% of the claimed trans-resveratrol potency.

Consumers are recommended to be mindful about the costs if they are to ingest the equivalence of 1,000 mg of effective trans-resveratrol to achieve their longevity goal. Simply weigh the product for 1,000 mg to ingest 1,000 mg of resveratrol.

How to store Rescence Pure Resveratrol at home?

Resveratrol is light sensitive, and when left exposed to light they can degrade and turn darker to brown thus rendering diminished functioning.

Pure Resveratrol should be stored tightly inside an opaque container, avoiding direct sunlight, in a cool and dry place below 25°C / 77°F for up to 36 months, in the freezer or refrigerator after opening.

Why Rescence Pure Resveratrol nutraceutical supplement’s expiration period is 36 months?

The expiration period of Rescence Pure Resveratrol can reach up to 36 months upon manufacture if stored without direct sunlight in a dry place below 25°C / 77°F.

Stability tests have confirmed that Rescence Pure Resveratrol can sustain at or above 98% purity over 36 months without degradation – this demonstrates a superb stability and quality.

What are the drug interactions of resveratrol?

Resveratrol is linked to interact with drugs including anticoagulant, antiplateletcytochrome P450 and certain transportersSee more details here.

Always consult with your physician before adding or removing any supplement.
